BA in Economics - specialized in microeconometrics - from the Bolivian Catholic University, and MSc in Economics and Management Science with a major in quantitative methods - econometrics and causal inference - from Humboldt University of Berlin. Between 2012 and 2016 I was researcher at the Monitoring and Evaluation Group at Fundación ARU (La Paz, Bolivia) where I worked on empirical economic research on labor market issues (economic empowerment of women, assessment of trends in the labor market, etc.), welfare issues (estimation of poverty, inequality and mobility), measurement of inflation, and program evaluation (estimation of causal effects of policy). I worked on different multi-country research projects, for different international institutions like the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Bank, and IDRC. During my time at Humboldt University I worked as research assistant at the chair of econometrics since 2017. My current main research interests are machine learning and causal inference.
