Sebastian received his Master 1 from Toulouse School of Economics and a Bachelor in Economics and Social Sciences from the Free University of Bolzano. In his Bachelor thesis he analysed theoretically and empiricically the political economy of education expenditures in OECD countries. He gained working experience at the DIW, where he worked on public and private returns to education and the OECD's international migration division where he analysed the fiscal impact of migration. Currently his research interests lie in empirical labour economics and the evaluation of family policies.
